Why does my audio keep stopping???

Hi,

I'm using Cubase 5 on Windows 7 with a UAD2 solo and a Tascam 1641 soundcard. Before driver 5.6 things were ok but now, when I load plugins, the audio stops working (the program keeps scrolling as if it's playing) and I have to go into devices and disconnect the soundcard and re-connect it for the audio to work again. Once I've done this everything is fine, but I shouldn't have to keep doing this every time I want another UAD plugin to be inserted! It doesn't happen every single time but pretty much every time with the precision multiband and the Neve EQs.

Anyone else experienced this? What can I do to stop it? It's driving me mad and looks very unprofessional when I have clients.

hey i have nearly the same problem with neve 1081 and precision multiband. my audio doesn't stop at all but there are little breaks in the sound. if i turn off the precision multiband everything is ok. this is very bad because i want to use both plugins in my master channel.

any suggestions?
