Hi,

OS X 10.5
updated from 5.2 (worked fine) to 5.3
Have applied the auth file several different ways - dragging onto meter icon in dock, double clicking the auth file - have tried each of these while meter app was launched or not. When the app is not launched and you double click or drag it over the icon - the app launches with no feedback that the auth has been successful.
My firmware and FPGA are the same as you mentioned.

James thanks for helping us!

hello James
1) Os X.5.6
2) direct to 5.3 with a new card (uad2Qu)
3) every way possible with the control panel
4) UAD-2 driver version: 5.03.071
Firmware version: 2.01.19036
FPGA version: 2.08.35862

we tried the uad2 in another slot in the mac, and we tried to install in another system in another hard drive _same problem

thanks,
matt

Hi Guys,
I *think* I may have it (if you're all OSX guys anyway).

Check the permissions of the following folder and post here what the permissions are currently set to (just so I have a record):
MacHD/Users/yourusername/Library/Caches/UAD Meter & Control Panel

Once you note what the permissions are, quit the UAD Meter if it's running, and then trash that folder.
Launch the UAD Meter, which will re-create that folder with the correct permissions, and then try applying your most recently download auth file (or download another one if you don't have the last one).

Im having the same trouble with author update, all plugs are disabled. The demo plugs don't even work. I am a mac user also with the latest mac pro xeon. Running the latest version software and OSX. I have tried what you have suggested and nothing has changed. I 've even tried different slots, reinstalling. I really need this to be sorted.....Please help.
